If it can go off-road it’s welcome! However, if you don’t have an off-road vehicle we’ve got you covered!
OUR FAMOUS TRAILS
The trail system is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. All types of off-road vehicles are welcome.
73,000 acres of land with over 300 miles of trails…it’s time to play! What are the trails like, you ask?
EASY: Hit those gravel roads for a fun, scenic drive.
MODERATE: Some dirt, some rocks and some ruts make these trails a bit more exciting.
DIFFICULT: Step it up. It’s all the above and more dirt, more rocks and more ruts!
EXTREMELY DIFFICULT: You sure about this? Boulders and cliffs and questions…OH MY!
Finally! Online permits are available. Remember, annual permits are 365 days from date of purchase. Please remember that anyone under the age of 18 is required to wear a helmet to ride on Windrock Park’s Trail-System. Everyone entering Windrock Park’s trail system must have a permit.
Guess what? There’s a GPS navigational map app available for purchase. This is where you find the most up-to-date information about our trail system. This app is available in both Apple and Google Play stores now!
OUR CAMPGROUND
COME STAY A WHILE
Nestled high on the hill with spectacular views are cabins, RV sites, yurts and tent sites. Bathhouses for those who rough it and a few pavilions for those group hangouts! If you’re looking for a more secluded stay, there are cabins available along Windrock Road just down from the trail head.

THE RC PARK
Tanner Ridge RC Park is located near the trail head across from Hoskins Gap Road. Fully equipped with bridges, rocks and tiny windmills for the Windrock Mountain vibe! Please have a land use permit to access the RC Park.
GAS & WASH
We’ve got gas! Um… for sale that is. 100% pure gasoline is available at the General Store! And after you’ve gotten as dirty as you want, wash off that ride at our wash station. You can get wash tokens at the General Store.
WINDROCK GRILL
Don’t ride on an empty stomach! Fill your face with burgers and treats from the Windrock Grill. Located near the General Store, the Windrock Grill will keep you fed and ready to ride!
